Many 3D modelling and rendering software have camera paths and keypoints, in which the camera goes through a course between key points (a location, angle and point in time)
It would make the creation of videos much easier and less time consuming, so I'm wondering if it's possible perhaps further down the line in development.

I have tested one such system in a test application, it works fine even without editing of the recorded path. But implementation of it into SE is troublesome - planets are moving, so this should be considered.
