So there isn't a way to delete stars and planets? I admit I've never found such a feature, but perhaps I've simply missed it.

I think they mean destroy as in, like, launching asteroids at a smallish body or something of the sort. Or maybe hitting a mars-sized object at and Earth-sized object. Basically adding a feature to make SE a bit more like Universe Sandbox^2, which although would be cool, isn't what the program focuses on, and probably would take a lot of time to actually implement realistically, although I do think that naturally made collisions should be more realistic, as of now, they just pass through each other.

Living among the stars, I find my way. I grow in strength through knowledge of the space I occupy, until I become the ruler of my own interstellar empire of sorts. Though The world was made for the day, I was made for the night, and thus, the universe itself is within my destiny.

We all have an end, but we choose and create that end by ourselves.

Apparently you still have not read the 'Forum rules':

Here are some excerpts from it:

- Use the search function and browse the sticky threads before creating a new thread; if a thread already exists on your topic, post in that thread instead of creating a new one.

...

- Before creating a new thread, please check the forums for an existing thread suitable for your question or topic. The best place to look is in the sticky threads at the top of each forum. Also try using the search function using a few different keywords to see if your topic is already discussed in another thread. Please note that "necro posting" (posting in a thread that has been inactive for a long time) is allowed and is preferable to creating a new thread on the same subject.

Don't forget to look here.

Yes,I read them,onw by one,every single letter.
I just think that is quite annoyning post in an irrelevant topic now.
Of course, the topic is relevant to who search for it, but in this stage of development,I think it's pretty clear that interaction between particles it's not an plausible thing. Yet.

I think it's better opening a thread talking about voxels, and physical interaction, and then talking about terrain deformation.
Astroneer uses Voxels to make this possible, for example, but SE is a different story.
We could use,IDK,some procedural crater effects?
