I don't believe there would be any visual difference between them and an ordinary neutron star, but having some realistic sample of them being listed as magnetars in the info box -- perhaps with a display of magnetic field strength -- might be interesting. Would be a logical thing to add in if we have the field strength shown for planets and other more standard objects.

The habitable zone thing has been discussed here before, and I think the consensus is that the term is so vague (habitable for whom? And do you consider albedo, greenhouse effect, synchronous rotation, etc?) that it wouldn't be very meaningful to show it in Space Engine. Something better might be a colored disk where the color is mapped to the equilibrium temperature of a blackbody as a function of radius from the star. That way there's no assumptions being made about what is habitable and what isn't, but you're still getting meaningful information about the temperature range surrounding the star.

As for magnetic fields, I imagine it'd be enormously impractical to show anything other than the isolated field solution. In other words you wouldn't see the correct structure of planetary magnetic fields due to interaction with solar wind, etc.

to be able see marvels of universe like this you would need first to introduce more 'wavelenghts' views
X-ray, Infa-Red, Ultra-Violet etc.

i would for sure love such 'filters' for my spaceship screen or HUD overlay into my retina wink
and hell even ability to seamlessly merge these inputs to one display
(similar like modern military merging normal, NV and thermals)

I think SpaceEngineer won't introduce that. He would focus on the universe as seen via visible light.

Maybe one day, when SpaceEngine 1.0 will come out, a better plugin API will allow such customized mods. I wish too.
