I would like to see that your camera / spaceship gets influenced by gravity fields of any object in space while flying in spacecraft or aircraft mode. Would be awesome to find and hold a stable orbit during the observation of a planet. But there should also be an option to let the autopilot do this for you.

This will be a part of spaceship physics. But I must implement collision detection first. This will probably will be in 0.96 version, not in the coming 0.95 version. Sorry.

Good to hear it is a planned part. Its not important when it will be released. Its just important that it will be integrated. You're doing a very good and hard job with the creation of the Space Engine. Thanks for the fast reply! smile

How are you supposed to visit black holes then?
They'll suck you in

True. Maybe you can solve this problem later with a special ship technology. It could be a part you have to invent with science in the final game. Maybe there might be a way to travel these black holes (worm holes), if Vova plans to integrate it. Or maybe you can send a probe from your mothership, having a kind of camera remote connection to it (as seen in I-War for example).

Sure, now you can observe black holes or super massive stars at nearest distance, but thats all. There is no challenge at the moment, there is nothing that happens out there in space. Space should feel as dangerous as it is in reality. A simple camera observation you can also do in Celestia. But this engine here gives way more possibilities.
