Hey there, loving the new update! One thing though, Is there a way to make diffraction spikes smaller? I found them to be too large on 9.6.2. I have auto exposure usually on and when off, the spikes are just waaayy to huge surprised

They have the same size as in 0.96 and 0.95. You probably just looking on too bright star.

Well, if you turn off autoexposure, then the camera no longer adjusts to the brightest object in the frame - the sun - and as such it will be way overexposed and dominate the optics. Just like a camera in reality.

You can modify the flare texture to make it more suitable for use without autoexposure, but then it will look wrong if you have autoexposure on. There's no way to make it look the same size in both cases.

With Autoexposure off, the sun is always that bright. If you move out to Saturn or Neptune, the sun's diffraction and lens will be significantly smaller.

Either you set autoexposure to on, or you can modify the current lens flare texture and extend its canvas to 2048 or even 4096 pixels (the extended canvas should be black). However this will make the lens flare look relatively small when autoexposure is on.

SE needs proper lens-flare scaling with both options smile
