Red Neutron Star?

Hello, I just registered - I've been using SE for a couple months now. This program blows my mind, and it's still in its beta stage! Before I found SE, I spent years playing with Celestia. I made a few mods (one of which is on the Motherlode). At one point, I even downloaded the source code and made my own build of it to improve the hue of certain spectral classes.

Anyways, I recently came across a neutron star, "PSR B-1620 26". It is intensely red.

Please forgive any possible 'ignorance' here, but I always thought neutron stars were very light blue or white. If this is intentional, would it be because the intense gravity traps most of the light, thus giving off a different color?

I glanced at the forum rules for posting these things, and also did a quick search for any similar report. If I am violating any forum rules, I apologize.

I attached a screenshot.

Thanks you!

It's already on the known issues list right here, which is where this should have been posted.
