Error with loading surface generator shaders

Hello.

I'm having a problem with space engine 9.4 whereas every time I start the exe I get the following error message:



If I select YES then the game opens up with a black screen and bugged GUI as follows:



The contents of my se.log file are attached - it was too long to put on this post.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea what was going on here? Any help would be appreciated.

maybe its my video card?

Hello jaxspop, and welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure if a Radeon 6550D is too old, I would say no, but it's certainly not a very good GPU for running SpaceEngine. If you're having problems, attach your se.log file to your next post and we'll try to help.

It looks like it can't find many of the necessary files. Try deleting SpaceEngine and installing again. Make sure that you're not running it from the downloaded archive, extract everything to a new folder. Also, for future reference, it's best if you attach your log as a file rather than copying the text.

Wow, that was easy, I thought I had done that before with WinRAR but I guess I didn't do it right or something the first time. But, Everytime I ran it before, it put the screenshots, cache, and se files onto the desktop so I guess that was the problem maybe. Thanks for helping, and nice avatar.

Same problem here with Space Engine 0.9.7.2 and ATI Radeon HD 5450 (ATI Radeon HD 5000 Series are supported).

Any idea? :S

also, your se.log could have some elements in order to pinpoint your issue. I'm no expert, but I'm sure someone else could help better if you attach that log.
