Error with "LandNodeCache.CreateTexture"

I'm getting these constant errors which prevent me from loading textures on planets.
Here is the full thing.
It non stop reloads everything till it ends up crashing or just flickering from no detail to some detail to mountains and good detail back to no detail.

I have already followed the troubleshooting fixes for setting up main.cfg but still get this.
I am running i5 2500k 4.3ghz (64bit), GTX 470 SLI (Running 1 GPU cause this program won't detect the two of them.), 8gb Vengeance, p67 Sabertooth, Samsung 256gb SSD.
I seriously don't understand what is going on and I am confused alone that it doesn't detect both my 470s and why it seems to keep doing this error over and over.

It seems the program detects 0 mb of video memory. There is a bug in current version: when you turn off autodetection of VRAM, it always uses 0 Mb instead of VideoMemorySize value from config. Try to run the program with default settings, but leave VideoMemoryMaxPercent at 65.

This does not help. This bug appears on modern hardware (GTX4 - GTX5), and I have no idea why.

I changed VideoMemoryMaxPercent to 65 and it fixed my "ERROR: Last RenderUniverse(): GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY " crashing. It was set to 90 on default.

SpaceEngine runs much better now.

Has there been any more discovery on this issue?

I have been dealing with this since the first day of installation.

I'm running;

Windows 7 64x
Intel i7 950 3.4Ghz OC'ed.
ATI Radeon 6800 HD Series 1GB VRAM Useable for SE (969)
6 Gb RAM

And the culprit error of course;



I tried setting VideoMaxMemoryPercent to 65, it seems to help a little but using timewarp or changing LOD in any way screws it up. Moving also expectantly makes it more likely to crash.

HOLD ON! I deleted my se.log file to clear it and have a new one ready to post here for the sake of data. But for the life of me I cannot get the game to crash. I'm on 1000x at 2LOD running to and fro the surface of the earth at 500km/s and it hasn't crashed yet. It could be that whole "When you're trying to get it to do what you want, it works perfect" sort of thing, but someone else should give it a shot and see. (this is with the 65% setting as well)

Nope there we go; Got to crash by flying to a random planet and repeating the past stuff. False alarm, but it did really seem to help.
