Joker, what machine do you have? I use XP and I have
no problems running catalog + procedural stars, planets, nebulae etc.

My machine is high end though. However I still need to disable procedural
near galactic centres as it creates too much lag with the loading.

Yes I've seen this too, not only on galaxies, but also on stars and planets.
I think it's a bug.

This is loss of accuracy of floating point numbers, it seems to happen even on nearest Milky Way's stars. Note, that displacement of crosshair is the same as displacement of text labels (if you turn them on), and even as displacement of blackhole or neutron star distortion effect. I hope to fix it in the next release.

Well, here´s what I got

I have a bunch of this "ERROR: TextureCache.GetTexture(): Error disposing memory" in my se.log.

My system is:

Core 2 duo T8100 2.1 GHz
4 Mb ram
Video: Geforce 8400M GT 1407 Mb (shared)
Windows 7 32 bits

I could play 0.93 just fine, albeit a little slow

It looks like something is missing from the SE folder. Did you do
a complete fresh install? That means completely removing the
previous version before installing the new one. If you don't
do that, you get things like this happening. I think I've
seen something like this before, and that was what
fixed it. I hadn't deleted previous vers before
reinstalling.

Log says:
Code

Dynamic video memory detection unsupported. Value 1024 Mb from config will be used.
Dynamic video memory detection disabled

Did you use old video drivers? Does your video card have 1024 Mb of onboard memory? Type correct value in main.cfg:

Code

VideoMemorySize   512

Also, if you have less than 512 Mb of video, SpaceEngine won't work.

Well, it´s 1407 mb Shared... 128 mb built in. The thing is that, for some reason, 0.93 version did work.

mmm... I made an experiment here:

I used the "data" folder from 0.94 in the 0.93 one... and it seems to replicate the issue in the old program...

Rodrigo, with 128 Mb, SpaceEngine won't work. I don't know is it works with "shared memory". This depend on your driver. Replacing of data folder is not a good idea. Version 0.94 have some changes, and its data may be incompatible with 0.93 executable. Also, with 0.93 executable you can't see light distortion effect near black holes and neutron stars.

@Rodrigo.

I was experimenting same issue last week. All fine using 0.93, but your exact situation with 0.94.
For me the problem was solved installing latest official graphics drivers (i have an GeForce GT120), and now 0.94 works very well.

I have a problem with the procedural stars in Fornax DSph. The game generates so much stars that it eventually crashes. It is also strange that the stars are generated in this cubic pattern.

Thank you very much for this addicting game! I'm looking forward for updates!

I'm writing this from my WP7 so I'll keep this brief. For a few weeks now my copy of SE 0.94 has not been selecting objects properly. Basically I can target a body correctly and received detailed information, but the crosshairs are floating away from the selected object, some times violently so. A picture is 1000 words, so here is one to demonstrate. The crosshairs is floating over empty space when it should be over the bright red dot on the right hand side of the screen.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

The cursor may be selecting the object's barycenter. This has happened to me sometimes; where I select a distant star, then when I arrive at it, I find the cursor is not locked onto the actual object. You can check this by opening the solar system browser [F2] and see if the barycenter object has been selected instead, this may be what's happening.
