Somewhere between the Sivitilimini Mountains and the Kurshra Mountains lays an isle-kingdom : the kingdom of Delugaanen. This place was also called the infinite forest, because so much explorers were lost here, even the Delugaanen. Trees were growing on themselves, and on the biggest ones, we could see all the differents seasons on the tree layers : spring just over the trunk, summer on the middle, autumn on the upper branch and winter at the top.
When the isles and the mountains immersed, the trees kept on floating on the sky, and the forest was still growing. During the war, the Delugaanen were decimated, and the remaining ones climbed the trees to find a new world.
They found this world, called Veradela, the world of the trees. The infinite forest is still there, but it has become just a dark shade over the ships, sailing on the waters on the Endaeva ocean.

This is very interesting (awesome drawing btw), especially the trees growing on trees. I've never heard anyone say anything like that before (since wood isn't soil).

TL; DR: I used some complicated technique involving a couple programs.

STL; DNR: Okay... I used magic.

Text so small it hurts my eyes

Do you think you could use more normal sized text in the future? I can barely read that. If you're concerned about conspicuousness or taking up space you could always use a spoiler.

I keep making these montages, and I feel being more skillful at it.

Very nice. That make me think about these moments when I sit myself on a Space Engine terra, and I accelerate time, but with less lag. happy

I'll try to make a picture of how I see the sky when it's clear. That probably won't be soon though. Then you'll understand what a pain it is to live in Belgium.
I just don't get it, in that last video there are clouds and you can just see the brighter stars right through them...

This is nothing. Right now the moon is a huge source of light pollution. During new moon the sky looks absolutely incredible, since there are no human produced sources of light anywhere near my house.

You, sir, are a lucky man.

As for me, well... when you live near Philadelphia (or NYC, or Boston, or any other big US city), don't count on seeing much in the sky at night. The interesting thing is that when it's cloudy at night, all the light is scattered, and the sky isn't really black- it's whatever color most of the light is (EDIT: well, a darker, pale shade of that color). I always find this the weirdest thing: I know why it happens, but I also know it's completely unnatural. Sometimes, if it's not cloudy, and it's really clear, you can see the stars faintly. Looking at the stars can be very humbling, even if it's a faint glimpse. I think that says something about the power of the night sky- even space engine can't reproduce it.

Also, if you're in orbit, looking at the Earth at night, you see something even more intriguing- for the first time in history we've created our own star field on the surface of the Earth.
