He has incredible vision. I first saw Wanderers while reading Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy. Those books served as an inspiration to Wernquist when making it - right down to the design of the spacecraft... which was an amazing thing to see while still immersed in those books!

Reassuringly, it seems like the VFX industry may have taken note of his style, because when I saw the trailer for The Expanse, I was immediately reminded of his work by those sumptuous shots of Saturn and Neptune.
