DoctorOfSpace, for the vive, you will have to switch which side they're on. (Although I assume you already know this)

Will require a bit more than that to make them display right, but will see if I can do it anyway.

I swapped the sides at one of the pictures, for parallel view.
For some people the parallel view is easier than the crossview.

JackDole, I believe the term is wall-eyed (opposite of cross-eyed). But I could be wrong.

Hornblower,
I believe wall-eyed is just an urban expression: Urban Dictionary: Wall-eyed

The official expression is parallel view.

Addition: Next time, I'm going to try an experiment which incorporates cross-view and parallel-view into the same image

Hornblower,
I like your pictures, as I generally like such stereo pictures. smile

But as I said, I find 'parallel view' much easier, although the pictures, or the screen must not be too large.

If you search with Google for 'JackDole parallel view' and then go to 'Pictures', you may find some pictures from me. Also, if you search here in the forum for 'parallel view'. biggrin

I can't see 3d images with any of those methods... I guess I need to practice a little sad

Salvo, try this. Open up this image in a new tab or window and make it fullsize.

With your head level and directly in front of the middle of the image, hold your finger up (vertically) against the middle of the image. Maintain focus on your finger, and slowly bring your head and finger back away from the screen. You should notice the two images on each side form an overlap in the middle, kind of like this. Keep bringing your head and finger back (or you can bring your finger closer to you) so that this middle portion gets wider and wider. It may get more blurry as well. Your goal is to make it square. Once it's square, drop your finger away, and let your eyes relax on the image. It may just snap back into the regular image, or, if you can maintain your near point of focus, it might come together to show the 3D effect. It will look like three square images in a row, with the middle one being 3D.
