HarbingerDawn,
I can remember myself going to check one of my familiar imageboards, and then somebody suggested a version of ICBM launch. They provided some information about areas in coastal region of White Sea, prohibited for sailing at this time. I checked them via Google, as well as the target for launch (Kamchatka polygon). I've got Google Earth and plotted all components of flight path(above ground), including assumed position of ICBM at the time when it exited atmosphere. And everything was about right in place.

Surprisingly, even though rocket was flying in the north-east from White Sea, eventually it landed at lower latitude, in Far East, and people could observe it from Norway - at distance of 1500 km.

Okay thanks that one works!

(lol 14:30 PM)

Also, 340,509,428 is the total video views for the channel, not the number of people watching live (I wish it was though)

Cubesats launched from ISS in front of the solar array (really gives a sense of scale between humanity's largest and smallest operational satellites!) Best viewed in full res (click for link):

Yes they are. They really allow more people/organizations to participate in spaceflight in a hands-on way. They can be built relatively cheaply while conforming to standard specifications, and many can fit on a single launch vehicle, drastically reducing the cost of launching each.

Most of the videos from this channel is in Russian, however, sometimes they upload videos for English-speakers.
Which are not so popular, sadly.

Most English-speakers are more familiar with organizations like NASA and ESA, and are not as familiar with Roscosmos. Now that I know about their Youtube channel, I will probably start watching their videos more often.

Nice video, thanks for sharing.
