Lol, I live too far north for pumpkins to grow. Right now most of the trees have dropped their leaves and the temperature is about 7 degrees Celsius during the day.

I've been looking to buy that shirt for months. You have saved me a great deal of time.

Smoke me a kipper. I'll be back for breakfast.

I'm going to start a movement where everyone crowds time square and chants Sagan over and over until they start playing his interviews and lectures on the screen. Who wants to join?

He was far too young to have left humanity. When I reflect on the deaths of great people, I am the most sad over his.

Our great consolation is that people can continue to be inspired by his immortal works. And as Dr. Leonard McCoy would have said, "He's not really dead as long as we remember him."

Dr. Sagan influenced my life profoundly. His voice was and continues to be the proverbial voice crying in the wilderness. Yes, his was a soft voice but it carried such power. Amidst the insanity, Dr. Sagan's voice was reassuring to those of us willing and able to hear beyond the sound and the fury signifying nothing. I watched the first episode of Cosmos last night and I was reminded of a quote from Jules Verne that I believe is appropriate when I reflect upon the life of this great man: "What one man can imagine, another man can make real." I do believe that for many on our precious planet, Dr. Sagan did both.

Vladimir, I do believe that Dr. Sagan would be entranced by Space Engine. I always felt that within the immense intelligence of the man there was the little boy who never grew up; Sagan the man and the child could do what few can and that is to bridge the seemingly disparate worlds of science and magic. I have this fun sense that Dr. Sagan would be sitting with Ann and both of them travelling this cosmos you have created for us!
