Yeah, I got a nice spot down at the beach looking out at the sunrise. We camped there for the night and woke up early. There was a tiny bit of cloud cover on the horizon but it didn't block out the sun until the actual minute that the total eclipse took effect. So, we watched it for the entire partial eclipse and missed the total eclipse due to 1 tiny dark cloud. cry

We did see Venus when it went dark though.
