Indeed, problem with Cyrannus was due to it's huge size. SE searches for planets only within 0.001 pc radius. I've fixed this bug.

I've been having the silly idea of making Earth into a spaceship so I can see what it would look like as a moon to random gas giants or drop it into a black hole or something, but so far it's run into some problems...

Yeah. That's just a test with it using the Borg cube model, though; I've found that unlike with planets, the spacecraft don't simply assume a sphere if you don't give a model; instead the ship doesn't show up at all. However, it does establish I definitely need the model of a sphere to make it work (and even that simplest of models is way beyond my nonexistant modelling capabilities).

Here's the script I'm using so far:

Your best option is to just make a sphere model and then use an Earth texture as a wrapped around texture. That isn't hard to do but you won't get an atmosphere or anything as ships don't support such things. I am no modeler but I can tell you it isn't hard to get basic shapes, in fact most programs let you just place most shapes.

Saying "Let me offer you a cold pint/can/bottle of (insert favorite soda or other non-alcoholic beverage)." would have been better.

Anyways, I've decided that jumping full on into a new galaxy and getting into the coding might be a bit huge of a first step. Plus I have no idea how to combine two galaxy locations into one image, and I don't know how big it would end up if I included the tails. Unless someone is willing to help out.

SO, I'm thinking of trying to give the Magellanic clouds a better look, if possible anyway, or at least tweak them. Or alternatively (since the Magellanic clouds are heavily distorted anyway), maybe I can do NGC 7742 since that one is a beautiful galaxy.

Oh yeah, I don't know where to ask this (besides the modding section), but when adding galaxies, if you have modded galaxies in and want to add more, how do you do that without erasing the others?

Edit: I've changed my mind on the Magellanic clouds and I'm going to do NGC 7742, unless someone offers to help out with the antennae galaxies. Now to find a nice high res image of it.

Unfortunately I can't even do that. I've tried to use the BumpMap parameter with the little base.jpg version of Earth's bump map, but no success yet either.

I'm working on an addon to add most of important planets and systems taken from Mass Effect 2 on SE, like Horizon, Aeia 2175, Haestrom, Ilium, Tuchanka, etc...
Maybe, if I will find a way Omega-4 Relay, Citadel and many things, all based on Mass Effect 2 map, I don't know how much it will take but is a good idea smile

About the addon of Nibiru, I don't like it so much, and it isn't like I had in mind, so maybe i won't relase it after all...

Salvo, I already have a list of the coordinates of every Cluster/Nebula in ME and ME2 from when I was working on an ME addon, so if you want I can post them to help you.

As for the relay, Citadel, etc, the Mass Effect ship pack has the appropriate models, so they would just need to be placed correctly.
