Looks great, its too bad having planetary detail like this everywhere would require TBs of storage.

It looks amazing, great job! I just feel I should add that the Grand Canyon was formed by the Colorado River, but is actually located in Arizona, not Colorado smile

Wow great addon Klud! This is that LOD 2 has been designed for (not for procedural planets, but for Earth close-ups).

Why did you packed this addon in such a strange way, with extra zip? Why not just made a .pak file which simply must be saved to the addons folder?
SpaceEngine/addons/Grand_Canyon.pak/textures/planets/Earth/Bump-PBC/...

Did you used the CubeMap tool or another software?

WANTED: Valles Marineris smile

Sorry, I too shortened name. I, of course, was referring to the Colorado River. smile

Yes, indeed, I can do so.

Very nice! But I wonder, does this map have the same amount of detail as Solar System HD/Ultra, or actually higher? I never tried them because of their download size. tongue

Edit:

Comparing the figure to the current size of the map pack, so I guess it's higher then?

This is significantly higher. On 4 levels, and relief on 5 levels.

Klud, maybe after Valles Marineris, you can try to do some super detailed Apollo landing sites! And since they aren't that large, you could probably get it to be detailed down to a few meters per pixel of the height map and texture (That is, if you can find good elevation maps of those areas)! Nevertheless, it would be a cool experiment to see if you can create a very detailed bump map and textures for a small boulder field.
