Might not. I can not test this now, because my AMD graphics card is broken.
Currently I can not work with SE 0.980. sad

That sucks. I hope you get a new GPU soon.

Unfortunately, probably not.
I have a fairly old laptop with switchable graphics. (AMD / Intel)
It does not pay to install a new video card.
And a new computer I can not afford before the end of the year.

Laptops make very bad dedicated gaming computers. Desktop PCs are much better, again I hope you get one soon.

Rocheworld

A more recent version for the Rocheworld.

The screenshot is not of this version. I can not make screenshots at the moment.

Put the script in 'addons\catalogs\planets'

JackDole, Could I suggest where you make Theia a moon of a procedural Earth at moon distance, so both of them are tidally locked together, inside the Procedural solar system in place of P.Earth and P.Moon?

Can you make a Lonly III where the Sun and moon orbit 1000km or lower? The moon is likely to be an asteroid.

Lonly III
Rogue planet with a moon and a mini sun.

Here is such a system. Not exactly 1000 km, but approximately.

The sun, of course, illuminates only a small part of the planet.

I have not changed the size of the moon. This is somewhat unrealistic, but looks good.

The moon has a 2 hour orbit, the sun is slightly faster. That is, the day is only about 1h and 45 minutes long.

The pictures shown here are created with SE 0.971. It will probably look slightly different in SE 0.980.

I hope it works properly in SE 0.980.

(Use either the .pak file or the two scripts.)

JackDole, how do make rings cubic ?

Actually just like a cubic planet.

Only with an Oblateness of 0.999

I also use cloud layers because they can be transparent.
Code

DwarfMoon    "Llfawne Ring"
{
    ParentBody  "Llfawne"
    Class       "Asteroid"

    Radius      23395
    Mass        0.00016740

    Oblateness  0.999
    RotationPeriod  25.83213

    Surface
    {
        DiffMap        "Invisible.*"
        DiffMapAlpha    "Transp"
    }

    Clouds
    {
        Height          10
        DiffMap        "Ring/ring_diff"
        DiffTileSize    512
        DiffTileBorder  0

        BumpMap        "Ring/Bump"
        BumpTileSize    514
        BumpTileBorder  1
        BumpHeight      18456.81838922

        DiffMapAlpha    "Transp"
    }

    NoAtmosphere        true

    Orbit
    {
        Type            "STATIC"
        SemiMajorAxis   1e-6
        Period          1e12
        Eccentricity    0.0
        Inclination     0.0
        RefPlane        "Equator"
    }
}

However, it is still not perfect, and I have not tested it in SE 0.980.

The surface texture 'Invisible.png' is a texture without pixels.

The ring texture must naturally be made transparent, and perhaps made smaller.

Sorry, I was away for a while, because the 'Deutsche Telekom' was hacked.

Check the files in CalistoBase.pak or EuropaBase.pak.
(A .pak file is a renamed .zip file, if you rename a .pak file to a .zip file, you can unpack it.)

The textures are essential. Areas without pixels are transparent or invisible.
