My NEW Mass Effect mod

Hey guys, Dont Panic here, and I finally have some time to mess around with SE again. Space Engine has come a long way since I last had the time to check it out, and I'm very happy to see that. I was quite disappointed to find out that my old ship packs are unusable in the new SE versions, but I'm happy to announce that I've started working on a new Mass Effect mod (not just a ship pack) that will take advantage of all of the new capabilities of the latest SE version cool . It will take some time to finish, both because of the amount of things I want to add, and because I don't have nearly as much time as I had when I was making my old ship packs, so be patient.
This will be the main thread for the mod, where I will eventually post the download links.

Here are a few screenshots. Note that the models and textures I've used so far, are from Mass Effect 1, and so are not as high quality as one would like. Still, they are decent, and the ability to add self illuminated textures (lights, engines, etc...) really brings the ships to life.

Awesome! Did you ever tried to look for a "cockpit" version of the Normandy? smile

Being able to walk into the Normandy or, why not, sitting on Joker's place, would be a dream coming true wacko

The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 GPU: ASUS Radeon R9 270 RAM: 8 GBs

(still don't know why everyone is doing this...)

It would be pretty awesome, but as far as I know no such model exists in the games... I suppose it is possible to combine the models of the interior with the exterior model, but for me, it is quite the project in and of itself. I would first like to redo everything my old ship pack had before I attempted anything THAT ambitious. Still, I will definitely make a note of it, and try doing it at some point.

@dontpanic:

As an ME-fan you probably get my "message". smile

Surprised, holy crap!
Very excited, I didn't know there's a Mass Effect mod for SE.
With great anticipation, I am really looking forward to this addon.
Slightly embarrassed, why didn't it cross my mind to search for this before?

Well, a year had passed, have you finished your work? Really looking forward to ME ship mods that support 0.974RC2 (the old one in the forum can only be used in 0.96)
