I removed the blue color from rocks and did a few small tweaks to my previous palette. I haven't added to it and the overall look hasn't changed but it should be a bit more "realistic" looking now. Big thanks to SolarLiner, his tool made fixing this much easier.

Creating palettes that resemble them wouldn't be difficult, as they are pretty simple.

Well these look quite boring/plain, imo
but they're probably realistic and they are easy to make as doctorofspace said

I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually

Open Adobe Photoshop, open Planet Texture from a Gas Giant. Pick a Pixel with a Eyedropper Tool and copy the Color to Planet Palette.

Example:

Pixel is:

R: 255
G: 255
B: 0

Copy this to Planet Palette.

colorBeach (1.000, 1.000, 0.000, 1.000)

I did these over the course of today, they aren't perfect but I kinda like how they look.

They aren't perfect but I can't really be bothered spending any more time messing with them. Getting a good purple color in SE seems to be tricky.

(Totally not doing advertisement here! :D)

You could use my Planets Palette manager that automatically sets up the range of all the palettes; you don't have to worry about editing them manually. You can also import one or several palettes, and their StyleRange will be updated automatically.

You were right, I had used the palette editor and apparently it messed up some of the listings. Attached the fixes to this post.

Apparently the editor is broken in editing oceans, it separated oceans into actual planet classes and didn't keep them as oceans. This in turn screwed up the range settings.
