Four more ships. Mostly small, simple planetships with as much detail and functionality packed into the smallest space possible.

Lenora

Moonrider

Itheria

Vassago

I like the Lenora and the Moonrider the best, they look pretty cool.

Thanks Doc. smile

Btw, I read something about changing the material of things like the radiators. How and where can I do this? In the sss file, or the json file or somewhere else?

It depends on where are you going to change materials.
If you want to change material of all ships at once, you can modify them in .sml file in "[SpaceEngine]\textures\spacecrafts\modules". There you can also find all textures, used for modular ships.

If you are going to change material for only one ship, there are several approaches.
First of all, you can export it into .sm file and create your own .cfg and .sml for it, based on default ones.
Second, you can export it into .obj and edit it in any 3-d party editors and then use standard procedure to import ships into SE.
Third, you can export it into .sss, but copy and replace some modules (.cfg and .sm files) manually.

Your body is a shell. Change it.

Spectacular work in my opinion. Any chance I can download them?

This and that other ship (see above post) are crashing on me when I try to load them in SE. I think I'm putting too much into them but I've done some equally convoluted stuff before the update and that seemed to work fine. I downloaded and extracted the new archive into SE, and I'm putting SSS files into the models/spacecrafts/addons folder. I created a ship with only a ring and it loaded into SE correctly.

werdnaforever, cool design! While looknig at NASA'a concept I was at a loss why they don't think of disk shape. This is the most natural shape for ring hyperdrive.

They both work but I like this one the best

You did a nice job on recreating that style of ship in SE.

That screenshot is absolutely breathtaking. Just pointing that out.

Thanks, guys

EDIT:
