I've checked the size of this galaxy and it's apparently smaller in the Engine than it is from the breaking news. Also, some supermassive blackholes that are larger than our entire solar system exist but they are all the same size in the engine. Could this be deliberate due to the user's ability to mod or is it not updated yet?

Not all black holes in the engine are the same size. The one at the center of the Milky Way is much larger than the one in the side menu. Also check out the center of star clusters. They're mid sized black holes smile
