I've noticed a couple of planets where their orbits intersect. Does anything occur if they happen to hit each other, or do they just pass right through?

Also, what settings are reccomended graphically? Any must have add ons?

No, they don't collide, but they will in future versions, also, I don't think this needs a new thread.

I didn't see a thread to just ask random questions, if there is one, then I apologize.

Do a simple search for "colliding planets" and this is the first result: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/10-435-1

Use the search function before creating new threads.

Just play around until you find whatever fits your personal tastes.

Any must have add ons?

High res planet textures:
Official addons (for the Mars maps use the one with my name next to it)
Moon texture

Eagle nebula

Astroniki's amazing lens flare

SpaceEngineer's updated gas giant cloud shaders
SpaceEngineer's updated terrestrial cloud shaders

Ship creator/editor by SHW
Ships created with the editor by members can be found here: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/10-1302-1

Look around, there are other cool addons, especially for ships and stuff, but the above are what I would consider the "essential" list.

I'd also suggest checking out my modified nebula models if you want less obnoxious and more realistic nebulae (they look a lot better in game than in the screenshots, and doubly so from inside): http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/8-384-16854-16-1356061874

Here are my settings if you care to see them:

Autoexposure and real sun brightness I toggle on and off depending on the situation, but everything else usually stays as you see it there.

I also forgot to mention this in my list of essential addons: http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/17-1151-1
