matty406, same here. smile There's something about having a ginormous planet lurking on the horizon that is very captivating.

@Batbomb: Nice! I like your shots of the green-atmo world. Desolate AND beautiful.

Indeed, unless they are very disparately sized monitors, like mine:

(one is 1024*768, the other is 1920*1080).

Then it is only somewhat epic smile

I can't imagine how terrifying/amazing/other-worldly Space Engine would be with a Rift.

Some pics I took with SE on a brand new SSD:

Now that I think about it, Space Engine would be much more immersive if it had some ambiance sounds like a slight breeze or speedy winds combined with dust particle effects...

You all and your humongous monitors...
Lol, I still only have the single monitor at 1024x768. Not very epic at all. But that just means with a little extra effort I can turn many little images into a big pretty one, which is fun. smile

Freak2121: impressive sights you captured there! And with regards to sounds, you should check the work progress thread for a nice surprise. wink

Nice shots, Antza2, you should make that top one into an avatar and post it in the avatar thread.
