An interesting galaxy colission with them stacked on top of each other. Also, oops, I thought taking the screenshot without the HUD would also not show the settings boxes....

Go here for an image of the real one. I don't think the quality is good enough to make a model out of it though.

It's the Gomez's hamburger galaxies

Gomez's hamburger is actually not a galaxy or galaxies at all. It is a young star surrounded by a protoplanetary disc about 900 light years away from Sol in the Milky Way.

It's just the way SE (either SpaceEngineer or the programming) oriented the two galaxies, I'm not sure if they actually are aligned like that in reality

Solaris, That actually happens to be one of my favorite astronomical images. That's what our solar system might have looked like if seen edge-on from a distance, about 4.6 billion years ago. smile

Sunset as the primary undergoes a partial eclipse by its binary companion.

Edge of a huge lava plain on an earth sized selena (and forgot to turn off orbits, heh).

Some real world gas giants whose exomoons could very well support life. I know there are more gas giants which would be in the temperate zone, but I got tired of looking at gas giants and most of them in the catalog were either frozen, scorched, or hot.

This one is probably massive enough to have an earth sized moon at a distance far enough away that it might not be affected by the powerful magnetic field. Then again, we know how powerful Jupiters magnetic feild is, so this one could be even stronger. It is also either kind of dense or has a larger core than typical since it's actually smaller.

This one is a more modest massed Jovian world, however you don't often see the green tinged atmosphere with gas giants.

I've found a planet made of gold! I wonder how long until a galactic gold rush happens... At least, if anything can withstand coming this close to its A6 sun!

^They're fixed now. They're all way over the image size limit so I had to make them much smaller.
