Maybe I'll do a clean reinstall
Good idea smile
If you edit by yourself some files I advise you to have 2 SE folder, one clean (pure) and one other for editing.

I'll still set the VH startup and dynamic detect to false as that won't affect the procedural engine anyway.

Edit: Would turning off bifurcate catalog stars be safe to change for a pure or clean folder?

Yes, but by clean folder I meant "original install", without changes, anyway that's what I do.

Also, I would post some pics to get back on topic, but I sent the whole thing into the recycle bin and purged the recycle bin :P

I find it a fun exercise to make landscape style shots in Space Engine, especially at night or with interesting lighting conditions. smile Here's a few I've taken in no particular order.

I found a nice terra with life that had a thin atmosphere and an average temperature of about 20 degrees F colder than Earth, so there were some impressive polar ice caps. The equatorial regions were desert, but the area in between the glaciers and desert was green (I guess forested?).

n3xt, Are you talking about the Mass Effect Lens Flare?

It's been arround for a while now, you can download it from the thread where it was introduced wink

Here is another odd one. Is it me or the orbit of those moons reminds of the nuclear warning?
