Beautiful capture, I made a turn to your date when Halley is close to Earth (0.359 AU) and I took a snapshot of it to the Earth, unfortunately because of the atmosphere (and light pollution), we the see very little sad

Note: The bright spot on the left is Venus.

(Next move: September 12 2136 approximately
)

Double eclipse both the planet and at the same time on the satellite behind, it's rare, they are aligned.

In chronological order:

To find planetary nebula I look in elliptical galaxies on the green dots and increase galaxy magnitude. Most are green.

My god so many stars died.

That Mars is trully amazing!!!! What an incredible work. This has to be in the Official addons pack
Still Valles Marineris looks strange to me. I don't know why. Maybe to much vegetation at the slopes. It's a gigantic wild jungle.

Could be a whole lot of grass and shrubs. The engine only has a limited number of options for such things so you have to make a few compromises when it comes to procedural rendering. This Mars is not texture based, I took the Earth and matched RGB data for individual pixels in the Mars script for colors with a few slight tweaks. I could change the temperate zones and change how it looks but in my view the equatorial regions are the most temperate, northern and southern regions are more desert like the closer you get to the poles.

Here is a series of images showing the comparison

Honestly, my favorite cataloged planet in 0.9.7.3 is J1407 b. No contest. This is it's massive ring system.

Pretty cool eh?

Wonderful, that's what I wanted, I thought it did not exist but now yes. I'm going for a system inspired but with a blue star.
For cons, I not reach the planet RSN 9000-0-0 4.3 (and even the system RSN 9000-0-0). You are what SE version? I'm 0.9.7.3.
And the planetary nebula RN 9000-0 did not look the same in 0.9.7.3.
