For any res above 1080p I don't use Imgur because of the amount of compression there is.

Imgur compresses images above a certain file size, not above certain dimensions. It's possible to have a 4k image that is below Imgur's limit.

Well, since I'm around, I figured I may just as well post a few recent pics with galaxies in the background. All of these were shot with no changes in default galaxy brightness, by the way; only changes in global scene illumination.

Some places I like. The first image is from one of the most beautifull giants I've ever seen on SE. It's soo nitid, and defined smile











I like this place a lot. It's an oceanian moon around a gas giant that eclipses it very very fast. In less than 1 minute it get's completely inside the shadow.
