You mean your actual desktop resolution?
So that means it isn't a feature to render posters in SE, What did you use?

Edit:
Thank you for the link Harbinger!

No, just the SE window size. You make the window huge (something ridiculous like 5000x5000) and then take a screenshot.

Meet VV Cephei: a red giant, blue star and black hole all in one system. Pretty cool scenery there

I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually

I'm pretty sure that fritzing effect is caused by an eclipsing binary shadow.

I was investigating a large Gas Giant a few weeks ago - I was down between the cloud layers flying a shuttle, when it must have slipped into the shadow of one of the stars. The fritzing wasn't as manic as it is on your neat gif of HIP 85237 5, Doc, and manifested from my vantage point as intermittent flashes of brightness in the clouds.

I thought for a moment that Space Engineer had implemented simple weather, and I was seeing a lightning storm!

That second picture - Nimbus III?

Incredible images guys. I've checked back many pages, was a treat as is the new patch.

0.97.1

Performance has improved with the new patch so I'm able to use 0.97 instead of staying with 0.96

Here is another planet i have made, which i have given the name as Ramunia'turi. It is a desert planet, orbiting a red dwarf star, 85.2 light-years from Earth. There is a very intelligent civilization living there called Ramunians. Their total population is 9.8 billions.
