system with 8!!!! planets with life:

Planned to head over but it didn't exist?

Tips for finding Earth-Like planets: Look for F, G, or K Class stars. M class habitables will almost always be tidelocked. Oceanias can, of course, also be habitable, they just have tiny amounts of land.

What versions of SE do you have? It doesn't work for me either and I think that might be the case.

Lost a planet, Master Obi-Wan has?

I don't see it either. 0.97.

I've seen a few systems with 7 alive worlds, but not 8. 8 is a one in a million. "Great shot. kid"...

The system "RS 7462-63-8-8166139-319" does not seem to exist in SE 0.9.7.0

If you are still able to access those coordinates, the only solution to let that system have a life is to export it (ESC, Editor, Export System).
Then it would be nice to post it here biggrin

I tryed to "port" a planet from 0.9.6 to 0.9.7.0 but it didn't worked pretty well biggrin

The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.

(still don't know why everyone is doing this...)

I have a sneaking suspicion that you'd have to save the whole system and then rename it (and, of course, all the objects within) to be able to use it. Otherwise, it'd probably collide with a procedural 0.9.7 system with the same designation.

Not that I've tried it myself: I've only ever used this latest version. But it seems to me it makes sense.

One that won't be used as a desktop background, for obvious reasons. A smaller version of it could be used on a tablet, though.

Here is a link to my 3D gallery of Space Engine shots.
My 3D Gallery

There is an option for viewing in the Oculus Rift...although there will be no need once the consumer-version of the Rift is released and Space Engine becomes compatible. That is going to be one amazing day.

I hope that you will make the parallax adjustable for the Rift. A smaller parallax for close ups and an extremely wide parallax for star fields, as you can see in my example shots. There is nothing better than good 3D in space.
