Spacer3, neat planet. I don't think I've ever seen blue vegetation before, and coupled with red oceans makes it really weird. smile

The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.

The game crashed when flying around in the system, but thankfully I was able to write down the location from the frozen screen: RS 5565-1375-9-24616611-52

I tried adding UY Scuti in Space Engine today, which (could) be the new "largest" star. I couldn't find the distance anywhere, I put a random value (I compared with other stars the same class and magnitude) and it actually put it close to the eagle nebula.

Soon I might release a catalog file containing more or less accurate data for stars from this Wikipedia article. (the ones who aren't already in Space Engine)

It's been awhile, image dump thread. How are you? That's good...I've just been hovering at the edge of the universe with a camera.

Some of the images in this thread are absolutely superb. But why is the thread called "Image Dump"? It makes it sound like some kind of waste bin. Wouldn't the thread be more appealing to newcomers if it was called "User Image Gallery" or something similar?

Just saying.
