SE has been pretty buggy for me lately, so very few pictures can be taken.

Yesterday I took a break from importing and adapting my old fictional systems from Celestia and went for a stroll. In the Pleiades, I found this cozy little place.

Needless to say, it's my new desktop background. smile

PS: The image is slightly corrupted at the bottom, I don't know why. Some SE bug, maybe. It's easily fixed in an image such as this, but I wanted to post it raw, to make a note of it.

What configs do you guys (i.e mordin86) use? I lost mine when I upgraded to .97. I find it very difficult to get that level of detail with the current in game config.

this is my config screen:

Hi,

I recently dived in the Space Engine 0.97 and, well, it is an incredibly stimulating piece of software, the ultimate Universe exploration toolset. I usually post my photos on Flickr, so I have created a gallery for Space Engine there.

I hope it is alright to post it here. There you go ==>>>.

And my latest desktop image, comfortably fitted with black bars above and below, is:

This was supposed to be a wider panorama, capturing the whole visible ring, but Sir Crashalot decided to go off to a new adventure as the rightmost frames were being grabbed, so no deal. Still, it came out pretty well, I think. I'll have to start saving the location every time I start to capture a panorama, though.

What are the advantages to 0.96 as opposed to 0.97? I've only been using SE since the latest version came out.

Here are a few recent shots I've taken:

Some people have much better performance and less crashes using 0.96,
but other than that, there really isn't any reason to use it (at least to my knowledge).
