Probably the coolest planetary system I've ever seen. A gas giant with not only a life bearing planet, but also a little baby gas giant orbiting it as well. plenty of good photo ops for better photographers than me biggrin

Oh wow. I think i've found the most beautiful place i've ever seen in SE.

RS 8404-1353-8-2554093-55 A4.2

It's a terra with life, orbiting a gas giant. It has colorful rings and some very beautiful places.

I managed to find this great spot where the ring is in between the two mountain ranges.

It also has a great view of the planet.

Finally managed to get 0.9.7 to work without constantly crashing, was zipping around some distance from Andromeda when I found this interesting and slightly creepy irregular galaxy.

The lone star cluster in the center of what I assume is either the dust bank or a giant Bok globule. There's absolutely no other stars inside the cloud, you only star seeing them when you get closer to the lighter areas of the galaxy. Pretty creepy.

And finally the black hole at the heart of the cluster. It's right next to the really bright white star. The whole assembly is very pretty, reminds me of christmas lights.

True enough but I figure this time around you can go ahead with the BC files since you are a bigger part of that community.

I'm lacking in the requisite motivation/time. You certainly don't lack in motivation, from what I've seen - I admire that.

But I'll keep it in mind for when I can manage it. I'd love to get more Trek ships in.

Yeah I have some ported over to the new format and setup but I really don't have as much time as I used to right now.

They are the best models available tongue and you can never have enough Trek ships.

Lets move this discussion into PMs. I would prefer this time around working on the star trek ship pack with you to get more ships done, seeing as you have better relations with the BC community.

Wow, this is probably a bug but a beautiful one: The star is behind the planet but its flare effect & diffraction spikes are vissible from certain angles with auto exposure on:

It creates a nice god-rays effect - or super aurora cool
