I like to look at gas giants planets near the poles. There are sometimes great pattersn to see here.

I remember there was discussion (which I may have started) regarding the fact that there isn't really any overlap or transition zone between a true rocky planet and a gas/ice giant, this planet would be in the fuzzy zone on the border between the two categories.

DoctorOfSpace, Nice looking mars-like planet. What LOD is that, 1? Anyways, can't wait to start up 0.97 lol XD

Lol. It IS a nice looking Mars though biggrin Didn't recognize it from that angle (and maybe the lack of polar ice caps (yes I know one is 'dry ice')).
