@FiahOwl: Not sure if we are taking the planets age into consideration since at less than 700 million years old, it's not going to have an oxygen atmosphere. The only thing real earthlike about it is the day length.

Anyways, the next version is going to have the Earth Similarity Index in the planetary info, which will make looking for Earthlike worlds MUCH easier. Of course though, the atmospheric composition has to be taken into account.

A temperate terra with life, it orbits a Yellow dwarf slightly smaller and cooler than that of our sun. It's slightly elliptical orbit places temperatures at 262-273 kelvin ( Global seasons) It is basically a snowball earth. It's radius is much larger than that of earth (1.68 times), thus even though it is 2.5 times more massive, the surface G is at 0.9.
It's atmosphere is much less dense, at 0.844, meaning you would need breathing apparatus due to low densities. It's orbital period is 330 days (slightly lower than that of earth) and has a day 3 times as long as earth's with a axial tilt of 2 degrees.
It's seasons are thus due to orbital eccentricity.

It has a moon 9 times more massive than that of earth with an atmosphere of 0.11 ATM and a surface g of 0.33 (basically a mars moon) Sadly the moon has a highly elliptical orbit.

Theres only 2 planets discovered out of the mabye what, five thousand, fifty thousand? planets that are remotely like earth and are real. (Pandora and polyphemus are NOT real planets. though they are in space engine) Which of one is like 8 times the size of earth. so its really hard to determine if you find a planet that is real or not.

Aliens, heh. Who would've thought? One day were Causing wars and another day were finding earths!

...what? Sorry, but none of that made the slightest bit of sense to me. Would you mind explaining?

I found a pretty earth-like planet.
Planet "RS 0-5-14628-1409-688-7-1183392-38 3"
The Planet

The Star

From what I can tell the planet is pretty liveable the only ting that would be a problem would be the hotter temperatures due to the effects of greenhouse gasses but we could just remove the greenhouse gasses and lower the temperature to a more comfortable range. And the rotation of this planet is much faster than earth at 15 hours due to there being no moon.

Wow! Nice find LiveLife42! It guess it has an ESI almost identical to earth's! The only problem is that it is a bit far away as it is not in our galaxy surprised

The axial tilt is way too high though.

Not really. The axial tilt with respect to the ecliptic is 28.5° -- not much more than Earth's. The >180° just makes the rotation retrograde.

And Ouuuuuccchhhhh..... 312 Degrees K! We would be cooked into human steak!

288 K would be the best.

(I would like a colder planet, as a winter fan)

I'm back, but am I here to stay? Hopefully!

We could terraform it a bit and reduce it's greenhouse effect.
But yeah it's hot tongue

Euh, yeah, but that's average temperature. I'm sure it should be more temperate along the coastlines, the vulcanic islands and closer to the poles.
