Easiest way to find them is with the system search feature (Shift+F3).

The closest system with life to Sol (at least in the current version) is 7.657LY away, with 3 inhabited planets. They also look completely hellish. smile

I found a very nice- even long-term habitable- about 22 pc from Earth.

Tips for finding Earth-Like planets: Look for F, G, or K Class stars. M class habitables will almost always be tidelocked. Oceanias can, of course, also be habitable, they just have tiny amounts of land.

Islutas is about 236 ly away from Earth itself. Sol can't be seen in the visible night sky, but its neighborhood can. Sirius could easily be sen in the night sky.
