I guess we're seeing the surface of an ice world really close.

Not far from Sol, there is an interesting, old planet. It is an exoplanet.
Althrough it orbits its star quite closely, it may have the potential of life.

Here is a view from its surface, where we can see the star and another planet, which is further away from the star.

What planet is this?

Attention through, I modified slightly this planet, to make it more hospitable.

Ştefan, I will probably never guess it but i think it's the planet from Proxima Centauri

simonecinque1992, it is a real exoplanet. One that was actually discovered. And it's much more hospitable than most other exoplanets we have found (mainly hot jovians).

Ştefan, Yeah, I already knew what you were saying and Proxima Centauri is actually a real star and it's the nearest star to the Sun in case you didn't know

But we haven't discovered yet any exoplanets around Proxima Centauri...

I think I made it too hard. I'll give you all another clue: the star is about 3,91 parsecs away from Sol.

Ştefan,
So is it Alpha Centaur/Toliman/Bungula/Rigel Kentaurus/Gliese 559? (it was the nearest Yellow Dwarf star to the Sun i found (it's also binary))

Jack Dole is right! It's your turn now.

Your version of Kapteyn b is a bit smaller than mine, because of a different inclination, probably.
I'll post it later, when I'll get to my computer.

EDIT:
Closest to Kapteyn's Star

Farthest to Kapteyn's Star
